The Deputy Program Manager will work with the Project Manager in managing the day to day project activities, including items such as project cost and schedule. The Deputy Program Manager will assist in developing control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identify potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken, and will ensure the meeting of the company’s contract commitments. The Deputy Program Manager will assist in tracking the performance of program functional task elements such as procurement, manufacturing, quality control, logistics, and administrative functions. The Deputy Program Manager will need to be able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

• BS or MS degree in Business or Engineering or 5-7 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing government projects
• Experience with development of reports, structured planning and baseline management processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project; ability to update schedules and resources on existing schedules as well as build new schedules
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and team interaction skills
• Excellent organizational skills; on-time task delivery capabilities; multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers
• Ability to obtain appropriate personnel clearance (i.e. U.S. Citizenship required)
