3 Phoenix, Inc. (3Pi), was awarded the 2010 NAVSEA Command Excellence Award. The award was presented for excellent team results in demonstration product quality, technical innovation, cost control, schedule acceleration, organizational efficiency and process improvement in support of Naval Sea Systems Command mission, vision and goals. The successful team responsible for outstanding performance was comprised of two program offices in the Department of Navy’s Program Executive Office – Submarines (PMS 435 and PMS 450), Naval Undersea Warfare Center – Newport Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center – Carderock, and 3 Phoenix, Inc.
